The International Esports Federation (IESF) welcomed 12 new National Member Federations from four continents, bringing the total number of members to a record 123, underscoring the progress of the IESF towards its mission to unite, support and promote the global e-sports family.
Algeria, Bulgaria, Guadeloupe, Bangladesh, Palestine, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Chad, Niger, Somalia and Haiti have been officially accepted as IESF member federations and will now compete in the 14th edition of the Esports World Championships this year.
Each nation is represented by a national esports organization.
Europe:

Asia:
Afghanistan – Afghanistan Esports Federation
Bangladesh – Youth Development and Electronic Sports Association of Bangladesh
Palestine – Palestinian Electronic and Intellectual Sports Federation
Tajikistan – Tajikistan Esports Federation
Africa:
Algeria – Mouloudia Algiers Center
Burkina Faso – Ouagadougou Electronic Games Tournament
Chad – Chad e-sport
Niger – Niger Esport Association
Somalia – Somali Electronic Sports Federation
Americas:
Haiti – Haitian Electronic Sports Federation
Guadeloupe – GIGA’GAMES Association Guadeloupe Federation of eSports
“Congratulations to our 12 new member federations. We are very grateful to everyone who has contributed to the growth of the IESF around the world and who recognizes the work we do to unite the World Esports Family and ensure the future of responsible Esports around the world. We look forward to supporting the development of our 123 members, countries large and small, and seeing them compete under their flags at the 2022 World Esports Championships,” said IESF President Vlad Marinescu.
The WE 2022 Championships are expected to be the most geographically diverse part of the IESF’s flagship event to date. The finals will take place from November 30 to December 12 in Bali, Indonesia, and will feature a record total prize pool of $500,000 and a new featured women’s division.
