GTA 6 will last 500 hours with multiple continents claims new report

GTA 6 might be the biggest and most ambitious game in the series, clocking in at 500 hours to complete and spanning multiple continents, according to industry analyst Michael Pachter.

GTA 6 rumors have been circulating for years, and they’ve only intensified since Rockstar confirmed that the long-awaited sequel is officially in development.

Everything from a possible release date to the next location where the franchise will settle has been speculated, but the developers themselves have remained as tight-lipped as ever.

Industry analyst Michael Pachter claims to have information regarding GTA 6, and he hints at one of the most ambitious projects in recent memory.

Speaking in his March 7 video, Pachter claimed that despite the recent announcement, GTA 6 has actually been “in development since 2014”, just a year after GTA 5 was initially released. writing code as early as 2015.

He then revealed that the GTA 6 map will span multiple continents and feature fan-favorite locations from across the franchise’s long history. “I understand it’s a mix of Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City (GTA III) and Europe. London for sure,” Pachter noted.

If true, this would mark a huge step forward for the GTA series. Each game so far has largely focused on a single city and surrounding area, such as Los Santos and San Andreas County in GTA 5.

This huge reach will unsurprisingly impact how long it will take to complete the GTA 6 campaign.

“It will probably be a 400-500 hour game by the time they come out,” Pachter continued. “You’re going to have to transport drugs from London to LA, and you’re going to have to go through the Port of Miami.”

Unfortunately, Pachter wasn’t able to shed light on a possible release date, but he said development of the next GTA would take “10 years or more.”

As always with news like this, take these claims lightly until Rockstar fully reveals GTA 6 with a trailer. There’s no doubt, however, that a worldwide story in GTA 6 would be exactly the kind of innovation fans would get behind it.
